There is something about bales. Coming end of June – July, and farmers start to cut first grass in the fields and meadows, to make bales in a few days time.
We always marvel at how beautiful they look in the fields. Well, lucky us, we have them right down from our land and to our right, at least once in the summer. Then sheep and cows return to graze on new green growth.
Just a few miles away from the house, I stopped the car to take some pictures of these pastures. Isn’t it fabulous?
Unfortunately for us, the neighbouring farmer is too quick to take his bales away. He literally takes them away on the next day, and I have no chance to take a picture. This one is a few days after they were gone – a sneak peek with a camera behide our stone wall. Happy animals, wouldn’t you say?
